Audi has confirmed UK specs and prices for its new electric flagship Q8 E-Tron SUV - a renamed, facelifted version of the model previously known simply as the E-Tron.
Three powertrain options are available - the 50, featuring a 340hp total motor output and an 89kWh battery; the 55, with 408hp and a 106kWh battery; and the SQ8, with 503hp and a 106kWh battery.
All are available with either conventional SUV or Sportback bodystyles. Ranges on the WLTP cycle are 281 miles for the 50 SUV (290 miles Sportback), 330 miles for the 55 SUV (343 Sportback), and 284 miles for the SQ8 SUV (295 miles Sportback.
All models are all-wheel drive.
The Q8 versions are available with a choice of four equipment grades - Sport, S Line, Black Edition, and Vorsprung. The SQ8 will be available with either Black Edition or Vorsprung spec, but these will go on sale at a later date from the rest of the range.
Standard equipment with the entry-level Sport equipment grade includes adaptive air suspension, progressive steering, heated and electrically adjustable front seats, Audi's Virtual Cockpit display, a 10.1in touchscreen with sat-nav, an 8.6in touchscreen for in-car functions, keyless go, dual-zone automatic air conditioning with remote preconditioning function, a reversing camera, lane departure warning, autonomous emergency braking, 360-degree parking sensors, traffic sign recognition, matrix LED headlights, and 20in alloy wheels.
Further equipment with S Line spec includes 21in alloy wheels, rear privacy glass, S Line body styling elements, adaptive sports air suspension, and front sport seats.
Black Edition mainly features black exterior detailing, while range-topping Vorsprung spec includes 22in alloy wheels, digital matrix lights, virtual door mirrors, power door closing, adaptive windscreen wipers, a heated steering wheel, electric steering column, and Audi Virtual Cockpit Plus, as well as four equipment packs - the Technology Pack Pro, Tour Pack, City Assist Pack, and Parking Assist Pack.
Prices for the Q8 SUV with the 50 powertrain are £67,800 with the Sport grade, £72,800 with S Line, £75,150 with Black Edition, and £89,800 with Vorsprung.
Prices with the 55 powertrain are £77,800 with the Sport grade, £82,800 with S Line, £85,150 with Black Edition, and £99,800 with Vorsprung.
Prices for the SQ8 are £97,500 with the Black Edition grade, and £114,500 with Vorsprung.
Sportback version of all the above command a £2,500 premium.
The first deliveries are scheduled for April 2023.
