Orders open for facelifted DS 7

Date: 05 October 2022   |   Author: Sean Keywood

The newly-revised DS 7 is now available to order in the UK.

Changes to the updated model - previously known as the DS 7 Crossback - include sharper front-end styling with slimmer headlights and daytime running lights. There's also a redesigned 12in interior touchscreen, and refreshed graphics for the 12.3in digital instrument panel.

Three plug-in hybrid powertrains are available, offering either 225hp, 300hp, or 360hp, with electric driving ranges of up to 43 miles, 42 miles, and 36 miles respectively. Official WLTP fuel economy figures are 250mpg, 249mpg, and 161mpg, and CO2 emissions figures are 28g/km, 27g/km, and 40g/km. The 300hp and 360hp versions come with four-wheel drive.

A 130hp diesel engine is also available, emitting 140g/km of CO2.

Five equipment grades are available: Performance Line, Performance Line+, Rivoli, Opera, and Opera Premiere.

Standard equipment with Performance Line spec includes 19in alloy wheels, black Alcantara seats, sat-nav, autonomous emergency braking, blind spot detection, lane keep assist, extended traffic sign recognition, and driver attention alert.

Further equipment with Performance Line+ includes a 180-degree reversing camera, front parking sensors, a heated windscreen, and heated front seats.

Rivoli cars gain further equipment including 19in alloy wheels (21in with 360hp versions), chrome exterior detailing, Nappa leather massaging front seats, and a BRM clock.

Opera models further gain ventilated front seats, an electric tailgate, an electric glass panoramic sunroof, wireless smartphone charging, and two USB-C ports.

Top-spec Opera Premiere cars also feature 21in alloy wheels as standard, along with a 360-degree camera, DS Night Vision system, hands-free tailgate, and a Focal audio system.

Prices for the updated DS 7 range start at £36,760 for a diesel Performance Line, and rise as high as £62,940 for a 360hp E-Tense Opera Premiere.

The first deliveries are scheduled for November.
