Digital INNK launches new grey fleet compliance tools

Date: 20 September 2022   |   Author: Sean Keywood

New purpose-built grey fleet compliance tools have been launched by Digital INNK.

The software company says the new tools, part of the ViSN management platform, simplify complex administrative tasks.

A driving licence checker allows fleet managers to check licences every three, six or 12 months, depending on risk profile, with any issues automatically flagged, and driver legal acceptance completed with an e-mandate.

Fleet managers can monitor progress on a cloud-based dashboard, which provides status and exceptions at a glance, while a driver app allows health inspections to be scheduled for completion, with drivers able to self-certify that they are fit to drive.

Digital INNK CEO Angela Montacute said: "Grey fleet presents a particular set of compliance challenges for the fleet manager. Our AI-powered platform lets the technology do the heavy lifting and makes it easy for drivers to complete essential tasks in minutes.

"Many employers find managing grey fleet vehicles challenging because of a lack of resources and the added challenge of overseeing vehicles that are not directly owned or managed by the organisation.

"The ViSN platform is easy to use for managers and drivers. Simply load your drivers, switch on, and ViSN does the rest.

"We use the latest DVLA APIs requiring only the driving license number to ensure both minimum false fails and a rapid robust service."
