New Jeep Avenger EV to arrive next year

Date: 09 September 2022   |   Author: Sean Keywood

Jeep has announced that the Avenger, a new electric SUV, will be coming to the UK next year.

The new model is the brand's first fully-electric SUV, and the first of four zero-emission cats it says it will introduce in Europe by 2025.

The compact SUV will be positioned beneath the Renegade, currently the smallest model in Jeep's range, with a targeted electric driving range of 400km.

First unveiled during a strategic plan announcement by Jeep's parent company Stellantis earlier this year, the Avenger will also, Jeep says, offer impressive ground clearance, breakover and approach angles for its segment.

The Avenger will make its debut at next month's Paris motor show, before arriving at showrooms in early 2023. Prices are yet to be announced.
