New entry point to BMW i4 range opens for order

Date: 23 February 2023   |   Author: Sean Keywood

BMW has opened orders for the i4 eDrive35, the new entry point to its upper-medium EV range.

The new eDrive35 powertrain sits below the existing eDrive40 and M50 in the line-up, and offers a range of up to 299 miles between charges on the official WLTP cycle.

The eDrive35 powertrain is available with a choice of Sport and M Sport equipment grades.

Standard equipment with Sport spec includes the BMW Curved Display with BMW iDrive and Operating System 8, LED headlights, 18in alloy wheels, and heated front seats.

Further equipment with M Sport spec includes M Sport exterior design features and Alcantara upholstery.

Prices for the i4 eDrive35 start at £49,995 - nearly £8,000 cheaper than the previous starting price for the i4 range. The first deliveries are expected this summer.

BMW UK general manager for corporate sales Seve Roberts said: "Following the huge success we have seen with the BMW i4 in the corporate and fleet markets since launch, we are very pleased to bring the eDrive35 model to the UK portfolio.

"This latest model to join the i4 range will make electric driving accessible to even more of our customers."
