The Nissan Qashqai was the UK's best-selling new car in 2022, according to Society of Motor Manufacturers and Traders figures.
The model racked up 42,704 registrations to top the sales chart, beating 2021's top seller, the Vauxhall Corsa, which came second with 35,910 registrations.
The Tesla Model Y came third, with 35,551 registrations, ahead of the Ford Puma (35,088 registrations), and the Mini hatch (32,387).
Completing the top ten were the Kia Sportage (29,655), the Hyundai Tucson (27,839), the Volkswagen Golf (26,558), the Ford Kuga (26,549), and the Ford Fiesta (25,070).
