Hyundai agrees Nicholls & Clarke fleet deal

Date: 09 June 2023   |   Author: Sean Keywood

Building materials supplier Nicholls & Clarke is to add nearly 100 Hyundai EVs to its fleet.

Managers and sales representatives will be driving Ioniq 5s, while employees at director level will also have the option of choosing the Ioniq 6.

The deal represents the first time Nicholls & Clarke has had fully electric cars on its fleet.

Director Gary Gingell said: "Corporate social responsibility and environmental awareness have long been a fundamental part of the company strategy and key considerations in all our operations, so reducing the emissions of our fleet of cars has become absolutely essential.

"We are absolutely delighted to go electric in partnership with Hyundai, whose cutting-edge cars have received such widespread acclaim over the past couple of years.

"I am sure our team is very much looking forward to getting behind the wheel of the Ioniq 5 and Ioniq 6."

Hyundai Motor UK head of fleet Tim White said: "It is with genuine pride that we announce another great win for Hyundai Business.

"Nicholls & Clarke is a company that has a well-earned reputation for providing quality products, and we are delighted it has chosen to lower the emissions of its vehicle fleet with our Ioniq 5 and Ioniq 6.

"It's further proof that our exciting line-up of cars and Hyundai Business model are proving really attractive for customers."
