Renault Group joins Webfleet telematics programme

Date: 14 June 2023   |   Author: Sean Keywood

Vehicles from Renault Group are to be compatible with Webfleet's OEM.connect programme.

This means vehicles with line-fitted connectivity will be ready to connect with Webfleet's service platform without the need for aftermarket hardware installation, with data transmitted directly from the vehicles to the platform.

OEM.connect for Renault Group vehicles will be available in Europe in the second half of 2023.

Taco van der Leij, vice president of Webfleet Europe at parent company Bridgestone Mobility Solutions, said: "We are excited to welcome Renault Group to our OEM.connect programme.

"Having another popular car manufacturer joining the programme underlines the added value OEM.connect is creating for our joint customers and highlights the importance of telematics data and their actionable insights for fleets."
