Aston Barclay announces senior management changes

Date: 11 May 2023   |   Author: Sean Keywood

Remarketing company Aston Barclay has announced a number of changes to its senior management team.

Lisa Grimsley has joined the company as its new group chief operating officer. She will oversee all group operations, including auctions, logistics, and refurbishment, and will also take on operational accountability for running The Car Buying Group, the group's consumer car buying service.

Sean Russell has joined the company as director of marketing, and Aston Barclay's former chief operating officer Justin Lane is now taking on the role of chief customer officer

Chief revenue officer Mark Hankey is transitioning to a more flexible working arrangement, and will continue to support the sales team led by director of sales Nick Thompson, who is assuming a role within the company's senior leadership team.

Meanwhile, former chief executive officer Tom Marley has left the business by mutual agreement.

Executive chairman Greg MacLeod said: "These management team changes reflect the group's commitment to growth and delivering exceptional customer service.

"We are confident they will help us focus on pulling the key levers that drive performance for our group and customers."
