Final speakers announced for VRA seminar

Date: 25 September 2023   |   Author: Sean Keywood

The Vehicle Remarketing Association (VRA) has announced the final speakers for its upcoming seminar.

The event, on the theme of '2024: The year ahead in remarketing', will take place on 21 November at The Slate, Warwick University.

Among the new speakers is Adrian Pepper, a campaign strategist, pollster, and former government special advisor, who currently advises the UK National Franchised Dealers Association and the Petrol Retailers Association, and will be discussing the prospects for a General Election next year and what its outcome could mean for the industry.

Also added to the list of speakers is Stuart Chamberlain, head of B2B and remarketing partnerships at Arval, who will be looking at what large operators of electric vehicles (EVs) need to do to build awareness and expertise about EVs among dealers and the wider remarketing sector.

VRA chair Philip Nothard said: "The General Election will be one of the key events of 2024, especially with regard to the future adoption of EVs and wider transport policy, and we are pleased to be able to add an expert in this area to the diverse range of topics being covered at the VRA seminar.

"This is, we believe, perhaps the best overall speaker line-up of any motor industry event being held this year, with a mix of well-known, high-profile individuals from within remarketing and some names that will be new to most people in the sector but promise to give very interesting presentations. It's going to be quite a day and attendance is free to anyone involved in the remarketing sector."
