New Fiat 600e unveiled

Date: 19 September 2023   |   Author: Sean Keywood

Fiat has revealed the 600e, its new electric small SUV.

The model features a 156hp electric motor with a 54kWh battery - a powertrain familiar from other electric Stellantis group models, with the 600e based on the group's CMP platform.

The 600e has a range of more than 250 miles on the WLTP combined cycle, and is compatible with 100kW charging, allowing a 20-80% battery charge in less than 30 minutes. Alternatively, an 11kW onboard charger allows a full charge in less than six hours via a home wallbox.

The 600e is 4.17m long, and has a 360-litre boot.

The model will be offered in the UK with a choice of two equipment grades - Red and La Prima.

Standard equipment with Red spec includes automatic climate control, automatic LED lights and wipers, rear parking sensors, cruise control, a 7in digital instrument cluster, a 10.25in infotainment touchscreen, wireless Apple Carplay and Android Auto connectivity, autonomous emergency braking, lane keep assist, traffic sign information, and drowsy driver detection.

Further equipment with La Prima spec includes 18in alloy wheels, front and side parking sensors, a reversing camera, heated front seats, a six-way electric adjustable driver seat with lumbar adjustment and massage function, a power tailgate, adaptive cruise control, blind spot detection, sat-nav, and wireless smartphone charging.

Prices start at £32,995 for Red spec, and rise to £36,995 for La Prima.

Orders will open next month, with the first deliveries expected in Q! of 2024.
