New Peugeot E-3008 revealed

Date: 13 September 2023   |   Author: Sean Keywood

Peugeot has unveiled its new E-3008 electric SUV.

It will be available with a choice of 213hp, 233hp, and 324hp electric powertrains, with a maximum expected range of up to 435 miles under WLTP testing. A 20-80% battery charge will be possible in 30 minutes using a 160kW charger.

Conventional hybrid and plug-in hybrid powertrains will also be available, though details of these are yet to be announced.

The model is the first to be based on parent company Stellantis's new STLA Medium platform, and features a fastback design, in part to improve its aerodynamics and therefore efficiency - although at 520 litres boot space is unchanged from the previous 3008.

The interior features Peugeot's new Panoramic i-Cockpit, featuring a floating, curved 21in screen that combines driver head-up display functions with the central infotainment touchscreen.

The new E-3008 will be available with a choice of Allure or GT equipment grades, with sales due to begin in February 2024. Full UK specs and prices are yet to be announced.
