Powertrain changes for Peugeot 2008 range

Date: 06 March 2024   |   Author: Sean Keywood

Peugeot has opened orders for the new mild hybrid version of its 2008 SUV, and also announced other changes including a new entry-level version of the electric E-2008 joining the line-up.

The 136hp mild hybrid allows a CO2 emissions reduction of up to 26g/km compared with the equivalent petrol model.

Prices with this powertrain start at £27,770 with the Active equipment grade, with the first deliveries due this month.

The new E-2008 powertrain features a 136hp motor and a 50kWh battery, sitting below the existing 156hp/54kWh option in the line-up. Prices for this new powertrain start at £35,700, again with the Active grade.

Peugeot has also made the 100hp petrol version of the 2008 available with the mid-range Allure equipment grade, priced at £26,170, rather than just the entry-level Active grade as it was previously.
