The Association of Fleet Professionals (AFP) has confirmed its board members and structure, following its formation earlier this year.
The organisation, created through the merger of Acfo and ICFM, has Paul Hollick as chair, Stewart Lightbody as deputy chair and Rick Baird as company secretary.
Baird is also responsible for sales alongside Peter Eldridge, who is turn is responsible for marketing along with James Pestell.
Finance is the responsibility of Debbie Floyde, who will also handle industry events alongside David Brown, while AFP events are the responsibility of Julie Summerell, and Denise Lane is responsible for committee structures and output.
Martin Evans, Peter Millchard, Marie Jarrold and Chris Joyce are additional board members.
Hollick said: “The structure of the AFP is complete. We are extremely excited about the calibre of people involved at both board and committee level, and are looking forward to seeing the work that they will produce over the next few months, as everyone rises to meet the challenges of the new normal.
“The coronavirus crisis means, we believe, that the AFP is even more relevant today than when it was first envisaged just a few months before we entered lockdown, with a very real need for professionals across the fleet sector to now share and access best practise ideas to handle the very many issues that are arising.
“Certainly, we are receiving a lot of interest from new members, which shows there is widespread recognition of the need for the kind of role that the organisation has been created to fulfil.”
