Land Rover has teased the fourth member of the Range Rover family – the Velar – ahead of its world premiere on 1 March.
Set to sit between the Evoque and Range Rover Sport models in the firms line-up, the Velar is named after the original Range Rover prototypes from the 1960s.
The British company claimed the new model is “refined for every occasion and every terrain”, adding that the model uses advanced engineering and “pioneering consumer technology”.
“We call the Velar the avant-garde Range Rover. It brings a new dimension of glamour, modernity and elegance to the brand. The Range Rover Velar changes everything,” said Land Rover chief design officer, Gerry McGovern.
We’ll be at an exclusive event in London next week to get a first look at the all-new Velar, make sure you check back with us for the full lowdown.
