Fuel card giant Allstar has updated its app which will notify motorists when they are close to discounted diesel forecourts.

Around 1800 stations nationwide offer 2p a litre off the price of diesel for Allstar fuel card users.

The new app – which is available for Apple, Android and Windows devices – will be automatically updated each day and has been relaunched alongside an updated website.

Allstar’s app also offers integration with Google Maps, and will show site locations across a planned route to help drivers find the most convenient sites to refuel.

“We’ve taken on board feedback from our drivers about the functionality they need and have designed this new application with their comments in mind,” said Kyle Fedyszyn, digital marketing manager at Allstar.

Being able to access these services not only on a website but via a map will improve driver mobility.”

Allstar’s cards are accepted at 7600 sites across the country, which the company claims deliver 96% of the fuel pumped in the UK.
