Top-five leasing company Alphabet has announced a partnership with online parking provider JustPark.
Through the deal, Alphabet’s clients benefit from discounts on spaces booked through the website.
The deal also provides customers with the chance to rent out unused parking spaces or electric vehicle charging points to generate extra income.
JustPark claimed it has over 18,000 locations nationwide from NCP cark parks to private homes. The firm said customers can book through the website by the hour, day, week or month at a price that is typically 50-70% less than on-street parking.
“Parking is an element of business mobility that is often forgotten. Our collaboration with JustPark means that employees no longer have to circle for a parking spot, scramble for a parking ticket or top up a meter, when travelling to business meetings,” said Mark Gibson, head of marketing and business development at Alphabet.
The fleet management giant also launched a network of approved conversion suppliers for its fleet of LCVs in the UK.
Headed up by network development manager Tony Long, the new division consists of 12 convertors covering seven categories: internal van provision, construction body and dry freight, minibus and wheelchair accessible vehicles, welfare vehicles, refrigerated vehicles, livery and media.
Long said: “The new network of suppliers enables Alphabet to deliver a consistent quality and approach to service levels and assists Alphabet in providing the most appropriate solutions at competitive prices.”
