Top-three leasing BC50 leasing company Alphabet has announced that Nigel Trotman will retire at the end of the month after 22 years in the fleet industry.

Trotman joined Alphabet in 2010 as a strategic fleet consultant. He helped customers move to electric vehicles with the firm’s Alpaelectric programme and introduced the car-sharing arm AlphaCity.

He has been an active member of ACFO’s national council for nine years and will continue as the body’s Midlands regional secretary.

Current eMobility consultant David Bushnell will take over Trotman’s responsibilities when he retires.

“I’ve loved worked in the fleet and business mobility industry – it’s one that literally and metaphorically never stands still,” said Trotman. “Over the years I’ve had the pleasure to meet and work with some fantastically talented people who have become friends as much as colleagues and customers.”

“I’m excited to stay involved in the future development of the mobility industry and will continue to be involved in some part through my work with ACFO.”
