Fleet services provider ARI has announced a major restructuring of the way it offers management services.
The firm has created separate teams delivering two different management services, designated as Complex and Complete.
It says the change follows the rapid expansion of its leasing portfolio in the UK, with its Flexlease finance leasing product.
The Complex division will deal with businesses needing specific and bespoke management for legislative and regulatory requirements, such as O-licences, often including heavy and specialist mixed vehicle fleets in essential services.
The Complete division will handle businesses running vehicles that do not have such requirements, but still need fleet management, data insights, and SMR provision.
ARI managing director Nick Caller said: “ARI has a strong reputation for delivering excellent customer service and fleet management, and as we have expanded following the introduction of Flexlease we have taken the opportunity to segment our business and align our teams directly to the type of customer they support.
“By doing this, our teams can better focus on customers’ needs and, in doing so, help them achieve their objectives by offering transparency, agility and a true return on investment.”
Caller said that while there were fewer Complex fleets, they required much greater levels of service, and an intimate understanding of compliance.
He continued: “They need support from experts who understand their operation inside-out and can proactively help them run quite complicated fleets alongside solving issues that can be very particular to these businesses. We have put in place a team entirely focused on this provision and will result in greater customer intimacy and satisfaction.
“On the other hand, there are many other fleets who want fleet management which brings great value, reduces costs, increases efficiency and enhances their business operation. But they do not need a made-to-measure service for specific vehicles. In this sense, our Complete offering standardises and streamlines many processes for the management of cars and vans, bringing insight through data.”
As part of the restructuring, Nimesh Chauhan, previously head of client relations, has been named as director of Complex, while Matt Cranny, formerly operations director, has been named as director of leasing and Complete.
Caller said: “Offering distinct Complex and Complete services will allow customers to be sure that the services and expertise they are buying from us is exactly what they need for their own purposes and Nimesh and Matt, with their combined decades of experience in fleet management and leasing, will head up the teams to ensure we are even more focused on delivering exceptional fleet management services for our clients.”
