Chery has unveiled its first model for the UK market, the Tiggo 8 SUV.
The manufacturer, which owns the Omoda and Jaecoo brands, recently announced it would also be selling cars here under its own name.
The Tiggo 8, which has made its UK debut at the Goodwood Festival of Speed, features a plug-in hybrid powertrain, badged Super Hybrid, with a combined output of 204hp, and EV-only range of 56 miles.
The model has three rows of seating, while interior equipment includes a full-width dual-screen digital cockpit with voice control, a Sony 12-speaker sound system, wireless smartphone integration, ambient lighting, and a panoramic sunroof.
Standard driver assistance systems include adaptive cruise control and lane centring.
UK specs and prices for the Tiggo 8 are due to be announced in the coming weeks, with the first customer deliveries expected at the end of Summer.
