Chery has confirmed UK market details for the Tiggo 9, its flagship seven-seater SUV.
The model will be exclusively available with a 428hp plug-in hybrid powertrain, featuring a 1.5-litre petrol engine and two electric motors.
A 34.46kWh battery will give a WLTP EV-only range of 91 miles, and support DC charging at up to 71kW, allowing a 30-80% charge in around 18 minutes. It will also have vehicle-to-load functionality, able to power external devices at up to 6.6kW.
The Tiggo 9, which follows on from the Tiggo 7 and Tiggo 8, will be made available with a single Summit equipment grade option, priced at £43,105.
Standard equipment includes heated and ventilated seats front and rear, a heated steering wheel, dual-zone climate control, a 15.6in touchscreen, a 10.25in driver display, wireless Apple Carplay and Android Auto connectivity, wireless smartphone charging, a 16-speaker Sony audio system, a smart power tailgate, a 540-degree camera system, and automatic parking.
Driver assistance systems include adaptive cruise control, lane departure warning, emergency lane keep, blind spot detection, rear cross traffic alert and braking, and automatic emergency braking.
Pre-orders for the Tiggo 9 are open now. The first UK deliveries are expected in December.
