The DVLA has stepped up its awareness campaign regarding the abolition of the paper tax disc on 1 October 2014, with updated advice on the changes being posted on its www.gov.uk/dvla/nomoretaxdisc website.
Although vehicles will still need to be taxed, no more discs will be issued, and there will be no requirement from the beginning of October to display existing discs with months still left on them.
