Renault has unveiled an electric-only concept car at the Paris motor show today.
Called ZE (denoting zero emissions), the concept is based on the Kangoo Bebop – also revealed at the show.
The car hints at how Renault would approach an electric vehicle.
“The ZE features a design which has been adapted to the spirit of an electric vehicle, with the focus on minimizing energy consumption while at the same time providing comfort features,” said a Renault spokesman.
“The energy consumption of auxiliary functions such as lighting, heating, climate control etc is a key factor when it comes to an electric vehicle’s range, so special attention has been paid to optimise energy management.”
The ZE is powered by a 95PS electric motor.
