Fiat has confirmed UK specs and prices for the revised version of its Tipo lower-medium car.
As previously announced, tweaks to the model include new-look bumpers and a redesigned grille, while new technology such as LED headlights and a digital instrument cluster is available with higher-spec models.
The regular Tipo range includes entry-level Tipo and higher-spec Life equipment grades, available with either hatchback or estate bodystyles, and there’s also the new crossover Tipo Cross, which is hatchback only.
Standard equipment with entry-level cars includes LED daytime running lights, rear parking sensors, driver drowsiness monitoring, intelligent speed assist, traffic sign recognition, lane keep assist, autonomous emergency braking, and cruise control.
Further equipment with Life spec includes adaptive cruise control, climate control, 17in alloy wheels, the 7in digital instrument cluster, fog lights, heated door mirrors, LED headlights and tail lights, automatic headlights and wipers, and a 7in touchscreen with Apple Carplay and Android Auto connectivity.
Features with the Cross include a raised ride height, silver front and rear skid plates, side skirts and roof rails, black wheel arches, a rear-view camera, front parking sensors and sat-nav.
Only one engine is available – a new 1.0-litre, 100hp petrol, paired with a manual gearbox.
WLTP CO2 emissions figures are 125-132g/km for the Tipo hatch, 126-133g/km for the Tipo estate, and 130-131g/km for the Tipo Cross.
Prices start at £17,690 for an entry-level hatch, and rise to £19,190 for an entry-level estate, £19,690 for a Life hatch, £21,190 for a Life estate, and £21,690 for the Cross.
Orders will open in late November.
