Kia has unveiled an updated version of its Sportage medium SUV.
The exterior design features new front and rear bumpers, and LED ‘star map’ lighting.
Inside, there’s an updated steering wheel and new seat covers, while a new 10in head-up display joins dual 12.3in curved panoramic displays.
There’s wireless Apple Carplay and Android Auto connectivity, while a Feature on Demand platform allows drivers to add arcade games, Youtube, and other video streaming services.
The Kia In-Car Payment system allows drivers to pay for parking directly from their car, while the available Digital Key 2.0 allows the car to be accessed via smart devices without the need for a physical key.
At launch, there will be a choice of petrol or hybrid powertrains. The 1.6-litre, 150hp petrol will come with front-wheel drive and either six-speed manual or seven-speed DCT automatic transmission, while the hybrid will pair a petrol engine and electric motor to offer 239hp, with either front-wheel or all-wheel drive, and a six-speed automatic gearbox.
The updated Sportage is expected to arrive in showrooms during the third quarter of 2025. Full UK specs and prices are yet to be announced.
