Peugeot has unveiled an updated version of its 308 lower-medium car.
Among the changes is an increased range for the 156hp electric E-308 variant, which is now up to 281 miles on the WLTP combined cycle – a 23-mile increase compared with the pre-facelift car. A 58.4kWh (55.4kWh usable) capacity battery can be charged from 20-80% in three hours and 35 minutes via a standard three-phase onboard charger, or in 32 minutes via a DC public charger.
The E-308 will also gain vehicle-to-load and Peugeot Plug & Charge functionality next year.
Other powertrain options include a 195hp plug-in hybrid, with its EV-only WLTP combined range up by 12 miles to 53 miles, as well as a 145hp hybrid, and a diesel.
Styling changes with the facelift include the introduction of an illuminated front Peugeot badge, and the lowering of the headlights to highlight the DRLs with Peugeot’s ‘three claw’ light signature. New alloy wheels designs are also introduced.
The updated 308 will be offered with either hatchback or SW estate bodystyles, and with a choice of Allure, GT, and GT Premium equipment grades.
It will be available from Autumn 2025. Prices are yet to be confirmed.
