Daimler Fleet Management (DFM) has recruited four sales team members in order to expand its business.
According to DFM, the brand is looking to expand its multi-brand contract hire and leasing service to fleets of all sizes across both public and private sectors.
Most senior of the four new recruits is Simon Barr, who joins the business as new business sales manager from Alphabet, where he was the firm’s public sector sales manager for three and a half years.
“This new opportunity, and the whole ethos of Daimler Fleet Management, is perfectly matched to my own consultative approach to the fleet business,” said Barr. “I’m excited to be joining a company which blends innovative thinking with a passion for delivering good old-fashioned customer service.”
Oliver Offeredy, meanwhile, joins the team from Mercedes-Benz Retail Group’s fleet sales team and takes up the position of internal account manager.
“During my time with Mercedes-Benz I’ve seen DFM in action and I’m looking forward to working with, and learning from, a hugely experienced team,” he said.
Matthew Pretorius, meanwhile, joins DFM as its new fleet sales manager from Hitachi Capital UK. Finally, Ashley Boaden joins the firm as its new business sales manager for the Midlands and North, having spent just under two years with Vauxhall as its fleet sales manager.
“It’s a very exciting time to be taking up this opportunity,” Boaden said. “DFM is striving to raise the industry standard for fleet management, to ensure that every customer receives exceptional service, and I’m delighted to be part of the team driving that ambition forward.”
“We’re delighted to have four such experienced, customer-focused professionals on board,” said Daimler Fleet Management general manager Patricia Wolfe. “Our continuous investment in people underlines our aspiration to offer our customers a truly bespoke and specialist fleet consultation service.”
