Toyota has confirmed UK specs and prices for its new Camry saloon.
The new model, which marks the return of the Camry to the UK market after a 14-year absence, will be available in two equipment grades – Design and Excel.
Standard equipment with Design includes: 17in alloy wheels; leather upholstery; LED headlights; dual-zone climate control; keyless entry and start; front and rear parking sensors; a reversing camera; heated and power-adjustable front seats with lumbar support; a 7in TFT multimedia display; and a 7in touchscreen with sat-nav, Bluetooth and DAB.
Also included are driver assistance systems such as autonomous emergency braking with pedestrian detection, adaptive cruise control, lane departure alert with steering assist, road sign assist, sway warning and automatic high beam.
Stepping up to the Excel grade adds further equipment including: 18in alloys; LED fog lights; LED dual-beam projector headlights; blind spot monitor; rear cross traffic alert; a wireless charging tray; intelligent clearance sonar; and Lane Change Assist.
Only one engine option will be available – a 2.5-litre petrol hybrid with 215hp.
Official combined fuel economy and CO2 emissions figures are between 50.5mpg and 53.3mpg, and between 98g/km and 101g/km, depending on spec.
Prices are £29,995 for the Camry Design and £31,295 for the Camry Excel. Orders will open on 1 April, with deliveries from 1 July.
