Following on from the V70 pictures released early last month, Volvo has unveiled its crossover 4×4 XC70 at the Geneva motor show.
Riding higher than the estate, the XC70 will be available with either a punchy 185PS D5 diesel or a powerful 238PS 3.2-litre petrol.
Even the diesel will haul the jacked-up estate to 60mph in 8.8secs and onto 130mph.
Off-road features includes hill descent and electronically controlled 4×4 that ensures torque is efficiently shuffled to the wheel with most grip when the going gets sticky.
The XC70 is due to arrive in September and prices are expected in June.
