A new ‘Damage Matrix’ data service is being rolled out by Hertz to provide customers with more accurate and transparent repair pricing.

The service was developed by Audatex and uses Solera’s vehicle database to offer customers a clear breakdown of repair costs when a vehicle is returned.

Thanks to the vehicle database, it can identify 200 parts on a vehicle, with detailed repair and paint costs. This way, the bill can be closed off in the presence of the customer on return of the vehicle.
