Honda has appointed David Hodgetts as its next managing director, taking over from Philip Crossman, who is retiring after spending 17 years at the brand.
Hodgetts is currently working as the company’s European corporate auditor, a position he has held for the past three years, and will start in his new role on 3 January 2017.
Prior to that he was the managing director of Honda’s UK division between 2010 and 2013.
“I am delighted to move back to the UK operation at such an exciting time for the business, as we launch a whole series of market-leading new products in each of our car, motorcycle and power product divisions,” said Hodgetts. “I also look forward to continuing the great work that Phil has done in developing a strong partnership with our dealer network, supported by the tremendous team of people that we have in Honda.”
