Honda has revealed the first image of the production version of its new hybrid, the Insight.
The final design retains the concept’s look, with a wedge-shaped rear end bearing a resemblance to Toyota‘s hybrid, the Prius.
The Insight will appear in the metal for the first time at the Detroit motor show in January, when prices will also be announced. They are yet to be finalised, but Honda has confirmed the Insight will be the cheapest hybrid on the market. It is expected to cost in the region of £15,000.
The hybrid CRZ sportscar and a supermini Jazz hybrid are also due to go into production.
