Hyundai has delivered the first 60 i20s in a 560-car deal with the national Bill Plant Driving School.
The Hyundai i20s replace a fleet of Vauxhall Corsas and were selected for their ease of use and safety standards.
Guy Pigounakis, Hyundai sales director said: “We’re delighted that Bill Plant driving school pupils will be taking their lessons and tests in the new Hyundai i20. After passing I’m sure many will not want to part company with this excellent supermini.”
The loss of the contract by Vauxhall is the second large driving school deal in the past few weeks to go to a rival after Fiat won the contract to supply BSM with 14,000 cars over the next three years.
