Jaguar’s replacement for its executive S-type saloon will be called XF when it’s launched in less than 18 months from now.
Designed and built in the UK, the XF will be revealed in production form at the Frankfurt motor show next autumn, before going on sale in the UK spring 2008.
“The Jaguar XF is a new sports saloon that will challenge people to think again about Jaguar as daring and different,” said Bibiana Boerio, managing director of Jaguar Cars. “We are now moving to the next stage of Jaguar’s exciting new design era – and if you liked the new XK, just wait until you see the new Jaguar XF.”
