Skoda has introduced a new version of its second-generation Kodiaq SUV, exclusively for order by emergency service fleets.

The model, in SE 2.0 TDI DSG 193hp 4×4 spec, has gained emergency service approval, including passing the Met Police Brake Test, regarded as the most demanding in the industry, simulating emergency driving scenarios with repeated stops from high speed.

The blue light Kodiaq is in five-seater form, with 910 litres of boot space with the rear seats in position and up to 2,105 litres. Standard equipment includes tri-zone climate control, heated front seats, a rear-view camera, blind-spot detection, and Front Assist with braking reaction to vehicles, pedestrians and cyclists.

Skoda has more than two decades of experience supplying UK emergency service fleets, with other blue light models including the Octavia, Superb, and Enyaq.

Skoda offers a ‘one-stop shop’ package for emergency services fleets, with vehicles fully converted to suit specific requirements, and the conversion, breakdown recovery, service, maintenance and repair requirements all built into one package.
