Leasedrive Velo has launched a new long-term rental product specifically to plug the increasingly lengthy delays employees face before companies supply them with cars.
“Customers require longer-term rental deals to cover pool car arrangements and employee probationary periods of three months or more,” said Leasedrive Velo boss Roddy Graham of the new product, dubbed Stopgap Plus, highlighting a general trend of employers holding off on ordering a company car until a new employee’s contract is finalised.
Stopgap Plus rates start from £10.50 for a Ford Fiesta or Vauxhall Corsa and can be booked with as little as two hours notice.
