Mercedes-Benz has revealed full UK range details for its new C-Class saloon and estate.
At launch, both bodystyles are available with 204hp mild hybrid petrol, 200hp mild hybrid diesel, and 265hp mild hybrid diesel engines, while the saloon is also available with a 258hp mild hybrid petrol – plug-in hybrids are set to join the range later.
Depending on spec, combined fuel economy and CO2 emissions are 40.4-44.1mpg and 146-159g/km for the 204hp engine, 56.5-61.4mpg and 120-131g/km for the 200hp engine, 52.3-55.4mpg and 133-143g/km for the 265hp engine, and 40.4-42.2mpg and 152-159g/km for the 258hp engine.
The range comprises four equipment grades – Sport, AMG Line, AMG Line Premium, and AMG Line Premium Plus.
Standard equipment with Sport includes an 11.9in infotainment touchscreen, 12.3in driver display, ‘Hey Mercedes’ voice assistant, 17in alloy wheels, LED headlights with adaptive high beam assist, active lane keeping assist, active blind spot assist, a reversing camera, heated front seats, and wireless phone charging.
Further equipment with AMG Line includes 18in alloy wheels, privacy glass, AMG bodystyling, a leather multifunction sports steering wheel, and visible twin exhaust pipes.
AMG Line Premium adds further equipment including 19in alloy wheels, ambient lighting, illuminated door sills, keyless-go, a memory package including electrically adjustable front seats, steering column and exterior mirrors, MBUX augmented reality sat-nav, and a 360-degree camera.
Further features of range-topping AMG Line Premium Plus spec include a panoramic sliding sunroof, a head-up display, and four-zone climate control.
Prices for each equipment grade start at £38,785 for Sport, and rise to £40,165 for AMG Line, £42,915 for AMG Line Premium, and £46,700 for AMG Line Premium Plus.
Orders are open now, with the first deliveries expected late this year.
