Audi has unveiled the new, third-generation version of its Q3 medium SUV.
Engine options will include a 150hp petrol mild hybrid, 204hp and 265hp petrols, a 150hp diesel, and a 272hp plug-in hybrid. The latter features a 25.7kWh (19.7kWh net) capacity battery, allowing an EV-only range of up to 74 miles on the WLTP test cycle.
Design highlights include new digital matrix LED headlights with micro-LED technology (on top-spec cars). Audi says the new Q3’s aerodynamics are significantly improved compared with the outgoing model, with a drag coefficient of 0.30.
Front acoustic glazing will be standard, and a sliding rear bench seat boosts practicality.
Driver assistance systems include a new driver attention and fatigue monitor.
The new Q3 will be available with a choice of Sport, S Line, and Edition 1 equipment grades.
Prices will start at £38,300, for a 150hp petrol mild hybrid Sport. Plug-in hybrid prices will start at £45,800, also with the Sport grade. Range prices top-out at £52,450 for a 265hp petrol Edition 1.
Orders will open in July, with the first deliveries scheduled for late summer.
