Mercedes has revealed pictures of the load-lugging version of its new C-class.
The well-received saloon went on sale this summer, and will be joined a year later by the estate version, which claims to offer the largest carrying capacity of any premium estate in its class.
Flicking the button for the powered tailgate will reveal 485 litres of boot space with the rear seats up, or a maximum of 1500 litres with the seats down.
Though a pricing announcement won’t be made for some time yet, the wagon has historically carried a premium of around £1000 over its saloon sibling.
As with the saloon there will be two distinct frontal styling treatments, with the Sport trim getting the three-pointed star embedded into the grille, while the other trims maintain the traditional bonnet-mounted emblem.
