Vauxhall has released the first pictures of the electric version of its new Corsa supermini, along with technical information.
The Corsa-e is the first new generation Corsa model to be unveiled ahead of its launch later this year.
It will have a 136hp electric motor, powered by a 50kWh battery.
Preliminary figures published by Vauxhall say it will have a 205-mile driving range under the WLTP test cycle, and the manufacturer claims drivers will be able to extend this range significantly by operating the car in Eco mode.
The battery will be capable of being charged to 80% in 30 minutes at a rapid charging station.
Available on-board technology will include a 10in touchscreen with sat-nav, Apple Carplay and Android Auto connectivity, and wireless smartphone charging.
Available driver assistance systems will include traffic sign recognition, lane keep assist, blind spot alert, adaptive cruise control, autonomous emergency braking and drowsiness detection.
An automatic parking system will also be available, as will parking sensors and a rear view camera.
