The leadership of two top-six fleet manufacturers has changed this week with new bosses of both Mercedes and Ford’s company car operation.
Rob East has taken on the role of head of fleet for Mercedes-Benz Passenger Cars, having moved up from the company’s national fleet sales manager role.
He replaces Sally Dennis, who moved to the role of remarketing director late last year to handle the increased volumes of end-of-contract vehicles coming back in the wake of Mercedes’ increased volumes in recent years.
Owen Gregory is Ford UK’s new fleet operations director, replacing Nick Themistocleous, who took voluntary redundancy in April. Gregory has worked for Ford since 2007, most recently as European brand manager for the Focus, C-max and Kuga models.
