MG has added a new hybrid powertrain option to its HS SUV range.
The new powertrain, badged Hybrid+, features a 143hp petrol engine and a 198hp petrol engine, with a combined output of 225hp, as well as an onboard generator and 1.8kWh battery.
MG says the HS Hybrid+ can achieve WLTP combined fuel economy of 51.3mpg, with CO2 emissions of 126g/km. Braked towing capacity is up to 1,500kg.
The Hybrid+ powertrain is available with SE and Trophy equipment grades, priced from £28,995 and £31,495.
Pure petrol and plug-in hybrid versions of the HS are also available.
