
Kia has opened UK orders for the EV4, its new medium-sized EV.
The model is launching as a hatchback, with a Fastback variant to follow subsequently.
There is a choice of 58.3kWh and 81.4kWh battery packs, offering a range of up to 273 miles and 388 miles respectively, and a 204hp electric motor.
Three equipment grades are available: Air, GT-Line, and GT-Line S.
Standard equipment throughout the range includes LED lights, heated front seats, a heated steering wheel, a 12.3in driver display, a 12.3in infotainment touchscreen, a 5.3in climate control touchscreen, wireless Apple Carplay and Android Auto connectivity, front and rear parking sensors, a reversing camera, and Kia’s Highway Driving Assist 2.0 system.
Further equipment with the GT-Line grade includes GT-Line styling, customisable ambient lighting, and wireless smartphone charging, while further features of the GT-Line S grade include heated outer rear seats, ventilated front seats, a smart power tailgate, a Harmon Kardon sound system, and a 360-degree camera system.
Prices are £34,695 for a 58.3kWh Air, £37,695 for an 81.4kWh Air, £39,395 for an 81.4kWh GT-Line, and £43,895 for an 81.4kWh GT-Line S.
The first deliveries are due in the Autumn.
