New Skoda Elroq variant launched as manufacturer confirms grant eligibility

Skoda has introduced a new spec option with its Elroq electric SUV.

The model is now available with its 82kWh long range battery with the SE L equipment grade – previously this battery was only available with higher-spec Elroqs.

The new spec, with a WLTP combined range of up to 355 miles, is priced at £37,060.

Skoda has also confirmed that versions of the Elroq and the larger Enyaq are now eligible for the UK Government’s Electric Car Grant, at the £1,500 level.

The grant is applicable to all Elroqs except for the vRS performance variant, and to the Enyaq in SE L 63kWh and Edition 63kWh specs.
