Skoda has revealed its new Enyaq vRS – the range-topping, performance version of the recently facelifted EV.

The model, available with both SUV and Coupe bodystyles, features two electric motors – one on each axle providing all-wheel drive – with a combined output of 340hp.

An 84kWh (79kWh net) battery allows a range of more than 340 miles on the official WLTP cycle. Charging speeds of up to 185kW allow a 10-80% charge in 26 minutes.

The vRS features a specially tuned chassis, with a lower ride height, designed to provide a more agile set-up. There’s also an adaptive damper system with 15 settings, a progressive steering system, sports tyres, and upgraded front brakes.

Other features include LED matrix headlights, and electrically adjustable front seats with memory and massage functions.

Prices for the Enyaq vRS are £51,660 for the SUV, and £53,560 for the Coupe.

Orders will open on 12 June, with the first deliveries expected this summer.
