Volkswagen has announced new Style Design and Black Edition Plus equipment grades for its T-Roc SUV range.

The new grades replace the previous Style and Black Edition grades, with extra equipment including 19in Misano black alloy wheels, an electric tailgate, a reversing camera, keyless entry, a panoramic sunroof, and metallic paint with a black roof.

The Style Design grade also gains black door mirrors and IQ. Light matrix headlights.

The new grades go on sale on 22 May, with the Style Design grade priced at £33,205 (£1,000 more than the previous Style grade), and the Black Edition Plus grade priced at £36,515 (the same as the Black Edition grade). VW says the new grades feature extra equipment worth £5,520 and £3,225 respectively.

The previously available R-Line equipment grade has been dropped from the T-Roc range, which also features the Life, Match, R, and R Black Edition grades.

The T-Roc was first launched in 2017, and facelifted in 2022. An all-new model is expected to be unveiled later this year.
