Subaru has opened UK orders for the Crosstrek, its new C-segment SUV.
The model replaces the XV in Subaru’s line-up, and is effectively an updated version of that car.
Exterior design features of the Crosstrek include a new frameless hexagonal grille and compact headlights, while the interior features an 11.6in touchscreen with wireless Apple Carplay and Android Auto connectivity as standard.
According to Subaru, the Crosstrek features a 10% stiffer chassis than the previous model, intended to improve dynamic performance and ride quality, while a 220mm ground clearance is claimed as class-leading.
Only one engine option is available, a 2.0-litre, 136hp mild hybrid petrol, which comes with a CVT automatic gearbox and all-wheel drive.
Two equipment grades are available, with prices starting at £34,290 for Limited, and rising to £36,290 for Touring.
