Renault has launched a new range-topping equipment grade for its Zoe electric vehicle (EV).
The new S Edition features standard equipment including a Bose stereo with DAB and a reversing camera.
Also included are leather and textile seat trim and driver’s seat lumbar adjustment, while there is a choice of wheels available: 6in Black Shadow alloys or, for no extra cost, 17in Black Optemic alloys.
There’s a choice of two electric motors: the 88hp Q90, which allows for faster battery charging, and the 107hp R110. Both are mated to the same battery and have a WLTP-rated range of 186 miles between charges.
The S Edition now sits above Dynamique Nav in a two-tier Zoe line-up.
Standard kit on all Zoes includes: a hands-free key card, rear parking sensors, automatic wipers and lights, climate control, electrically heated and folding door mirrors, and sat-nav via an embedded tablet in the centre console that includes a 7in touchscreen.
Zoes can either be bought outright, or with a monthly hire cost for the battery.
The outright purchase price of S Edition cars, including the UK government’s Plug-In Car Grant, is £25,870 with the R110 motor, and £26,620 with the Q90.
With the battery hire option, prices are £19,270 and £20,020 respectively, with battery leasing from £59 a month.
