Seat UK has announced the appointment of Craig Cavanagh as head of fleet.
He begins in his new role on 1 January, replacing Peter McDonald.
Cavanagh has spent 22 years with Volkswagen Group, and moves across to his job from his current position as the group’s sales operations manager, where he is said to have played a pivotal role in recent growth by Seat in the UK.
Seat UK managing director Richard Harrison said: “Craig is an experienced and trusted member of the Seat leadership team, and I am delighted to see him progress his career by moving across to lead our fantastic fleet team.
“We have an exciting year ahead for our fleet customers and partners, as we add five new models, electrify the brand, and continue to build upon our high level of service to fleet customers, through great initiatives such as the four-day test drive programme.”
Seat says its UK true fleet sales have increased by 7% this year, despite a 2% market decline.
