Volvo has revealed full details of its new V60 estate.
It is available to order now, with the showroom launch planned for 12 July and first deliveries expected late in the third quarter of the year.
There are three 2.0-litre engines available – 150hp and 190hp diesels, and a 250hp petrol – and four trim levels – Momentum, Momentum Pro, Inscription and Inscription Pro.
The 150hp diesel achieves official combined fuel economy figures of 64.2mpg and CO2 emissions of 117g/km, while the 190hp diesel achieves the same CO2 emissions along with official combined fuel economy of 64mpg.
Preliminary figures for the petrol engine are 43.7mpg and 150g/km.
The diesels are available with either a six-speed manual or eight-speed automatic gearbox, while the petrol comes with the automatic as standard.
Prices start from £31,810 for a V60 with the 150hp diesel engine and a manual gearbox in Momentum trim, and rise to £40,860 for a 190hp diesel engine car with an automatic gearbox in Inscription Pro trim.
Standard equipment on all models includes: Volvo’s Sensus touchscreen control system with sat-nav paired with a 9in display; a voice activation system; a 12.3in driver’s information display; powered tailgate; LED headlights; the Volvo On Call connected services platform; and Volvo’s City Safety package, which includes autonomous emergency braking and steering support to help the driver avoid obstacles in an emergency.
The semi-autonomous Pilot Assist system is also available.
Volvo says three further powertrain options – two plug-in hybrids and a second petrol engine – are likely to be available within the next 12 months.
